In the year that marks the 60th anniversary of the release of the album Otis Blue and Otis Redding's subsequent artistic affirmation, the Espinho Jazz Orchestra joins Marta Ren to pay tribute to one of the greatest names in 20th-century soul and rhythm & blues. Through the energy of soul and the sophistication of orchestral jazz, embodied in original arrangements commissioned from several renowned composers, this concert will be a vibrant celebration of the emotion, intensity and humanity of all of Redding's music.
