Another initiative to promote the collection of Empreza do Bolhão, owned by the Maia City Council. This company was one of Portugal’s most important printing firms of the 20th century. Founded in 1923 and successor to the earlier firm of Raul de Caldevilla, it proved to be a pioneer in the creation of unique posters and advertising strategies that shaped the country’s visual image for decades.
