The idea for the first “New Neighbourhoods” concert emerged this winter, as a response to the wave of xenophobia that seemed to be gaining momentum in Portugal. Four musicians from four different countries came together to give a wonderful concert and share their music at MIRA Galerias. The audience asked for more, and they’re coming back to celebrate spring! Who are these “new neighbours”? The renowned Chilean singer Gabriela Atal, accompanied by the virtuoso Italian guitarist Alessandro Scotto, will perform a repertoire of boleros and tangos.
