Making his debut in Portugal, Cai Guo-Qiang, a contemporary artist of international renown who has previously exhibited at the Prado and the Guggenheim, presents a monumental spectacle of light, colour and gunpowder as part of the BABELL programme. Entitled “One Page”, the performance will take the form of a “brief verse” drawn in the sky and will take place over the River Douro; it can be seen both from Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia's riverside.
