As “we are never too young to make a difference”, the children at Travanca Nursery School, together with their teacher Ana Oliveira and the rest of the team, have become Guardians of the Planet. Through their research into marine life and the impact of litter on the oceans, they developed a desire to share ideas and raise awareness within the community. This exhibition comes to life through marine species created by the pupils using waste materials collected by their families. It is an initiative that invites children and adults alike to learn, reflect and take action to protect the Earth and support the Sustainable Development Goals.
