This is an immersive performance that combines music and images, bringing together piano, violin, cello and original video art on stage — evoking the multimedia dimension that marked the last years of the Japanese composer's work. This trio is one of the few ensembles in the world to perform the work 1996 live — presented by Sakamoto on two world tours — from the original scores, published in a rare edition supervised by the author himself. Among the works performed are some of his most iconic soundtracks: The Last Emperor, Babel, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence and Wuthering Heights.
