From tradition to innovation, from fado to contemporary music, from gypsy jazz to compositions for the Portuguese guitar called "viola campaniça" or for harmonica, the Santo Tirso International Guitar Festival is back to celebrate the guitar in all its diversity and splendour, this year under the theme "Confluences – The Sound of Encounters". The debate – between musicians, researchers and experts – on the challenges and opportunities that Artificial Intelligence brings to the musical universe will also have its place, alongside several other initiatives.
