Considered one of the most vibrant contemporary music festivals today, World Music Days is taking place in Portugal for the first time and includes a stop at Casa da Música. The Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble presents recent works by Portuguese composers such as Patrícia Sucena de Almeida and Rui Penha, and takes us on a journey through Eastern Europe with scores by contemporary creators from Poland, Russia, Latvia, and Estonia. The programme is conducted by Pedro Carneiro, one of the most acclaimed conductors and soloists on the national scene.
