The Tetraurum collective emerged from the union between a group of friends, all of them musicians and Jazz Instrumentalist Course students from the Artistic School of the Coimbra Conservatory of Music. Together they tackle a wide-ranging and eclectic repertoire, using various jazz idioms, from bebop to avant garde. This young quintet is made up of Jasmim Pinto on trumpet, Rodrigo Octávio on tenor saxophone, Francisco Ribeiro on electric guitar, Ana Gomes on electric bass and Tiago Gaspar on drums.
