São Castro's ‘The City Dances’ festival celebrates World Dance Day every year in April. This year, the festival features performances, documentary screenings, meetings between the public and artists, and training in both professional and recreational contexts across various venues in the city. The festival welcomes a range of artists and organisations from the national and international creative scene, as well as the city’s own artistic community dedicated to body art.
