The Maia we see every day is a place of contrasts between modernity and tradition. In 2009 took place a documentary project entitled “The Maia We See”, an initiative aimed at portraying the identity, urban development and landscapes of the municipality of Maia at that time, capturing the contemporary perspective of 16 participants. Seventeen years on from that moment, we are revisiting these images.
