At the intersection of live music and choreographed movement, in a collaboration between Play False | cultural association and the Percussion Group of the Espinho Professional School of Music, this production is based on the idea of impact – sonic, physical, collective. An impact interrupts, displaces, provokes. In percussion, a beat, a clash, a collision breaks the silence and provokes a reaction. In the body, presence manifests itself and responds with intensity, in a realm open to subjectivity. How does one measure an impact, when it depends on the person who receives it, feels it, interprets it?
