Having been together for so long, Toquinho and the guitar are one. For the Brazilian musician, playing the guitar is ‘breathing through your hands’. Shortly after hearing João Gilberto perform "Chega de Saudade" in 1959, Toquinho embarked on an extraordinary career that is not only intertwined with the history of Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), so many and so notable have been his musical partners over the last 60 years, but keeps writing it. Always attentive to the new generations, in this concert Toquinho is accompanied by Camilla Faustino, an undisputed talent with an unusual sense of melody.
