Which pain does film cure?
First exhibition in Portugal by Iranian filmmaker and visual artist Maryam Tafakory. Featuring both new and previously exhibited works, the exhibition brings together site-specific installations that critically and poetically address themes such as the place of women, desire, and the contradictions of Iranian society. Tafakory, whose practice is akin to audiovisual essays and found footage, offers a keen eye on what images silence.
