One of the most eagerly awaited moments of the festival. Anouar Brahem makes his debut at FIMPV with a new and moving project, under a title inspired by a famous verse by the poet Mahmoud Darwish, who asks: “Where should the birds fly, after the last sky?”. Brahem’s music inhabits a unique territory, where jazz merges with Arab tradition and European chamber music, creating soundscapes of profound beauty and poetic restraint. This concert also marks the first collaboration between FIMPV and the Espinho International Music Festival.
