Very close to the Cathedral and the Archaeological Site, the Guerra Junqueiro Museum, currently undergoing renovation, is an example of 19th-century civil architecture commissioned by Domingos Barbosa, canon of the Cathedral of Porto. “(...) The Old Town Hall highlights concern for the city's cultural heritage, a museum space of the Porto Museum with a Luís Ferreira Alves Photography Award Exhibition.” The Archaeological Site at Rua de D. Hugo, 5 is a window into the city's memories.
