“Pastoral 2.0”, emmy Curl’s new album, was released in September 2026 and pays particular tribute to the Mirandese language, which originates from the Trás-os-Montes region where emmy Curl was born. Not only does it reveal the beauty and rich history of this regional language, but it also creates space for other regional dialects to find their place in contemporary popular music. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, in “Pastoral 2.0” the artist reimagines the stories and cultural identity of her homeland, breathing new life into them and giving them new artistic forms.
