Five years of existence are celebrated with Mahler in the Suggia Hall. The Alto Minho Youth Orchestra, conducted by Miguel Sepúlveda, performs one of the most monumental works in the orchestral repertoire: Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, “Resurrection”. Accompanied by the Alto Minho International Choir and soloists Sílvia Sequeira and Cláudia Ribas, it takes the audience on a journey from restlessness to transcendence. A moment that brings together the youth of these performers with the timeless urgency of a work that still resonates with us today.
