João Paulo Esteves da Silva
A pianist, composer and improviser, João Paulo Esteves da Silva is one of the most original figures in Portuguese jazz and contemporary music. Trained in classical piano and with a career spanning Portugal, France and various international stages, he has developed a deeply personal musical language in which improvisation, composition and remarkable expressive freedom coexist. His work stands out for its subtlety, attentive listening and constant search for new forms of musical dialogue.
