Lambchop’s new album is called "Punching The Clown" (City Slang, 2026) and, as is often the case with great stories, it began with a simple event: Kurt Wagner was driving to fill up his car when he heard a song on the radio featuring a banjo and several voices, somewhere between country and gospel, and felt the need to make an album that would capture that magic and simplicity. In this concert, Kurt Wagner presents the new album in an intimate evening of voice and piano.
