The bandoneonist Louise Jallu is a rising star on the European jazz scene, but her career is not limited to jazz alone. The French musician’s new album is titled "Tanz", and the tracklist includes works by Bach, Chopin, Schubert, Satie, Schumann, Piazzolla and Delfino, as well as her own compositions, revealing her keen desire to transcend various genres. In her work, Louise Jallu engages in dialogue with and pays homage to her predecessors, renewing her identity and winning over diverse audiences, venues and festivals across Europe. In Espinho, Louise Jallu will present this new project in collaboration with the Matosinhos String Quartet.
