Cristina Branco’s artistic roots lie in traditional Portuguese music, but the influences of jazz, literature and the musicians with whom she has shared the stage lend her art a universal character. With eighteen albums to her name and countless concerts performed all over the world, she is a true ambassador for Portuguese culture and language. She joins the Matosinhos Jazz Orchestra for a concert that highlights the more jazz-oriented side of her repertoire, characterised by collaborations with songwriters and composers such as Mário Laginha, João Paulo Esteves da Silva, Sérgio Godinho and José Afonso.
