The 3rd Paredes International Biennial of Wood Arts (BIAMP) forms part of the Municipality of Paredes’ strategy to reinforce the economic and social importance of industries and trades that work with and from wood. The curatorial theme is “Children of the Earth, Children of the Forest”, a colloquial expression used poetically to describe those who transform wood into something useful or beautiful. Building on this, the Biennial offers a multidisciplinary artistic programme that celebrates and highlights what already exists: the industrial heritage, the craft traditions and the factories within the municipality, which host several of the in
