The A Pauta Music Academy presents a programme focusing on bowed string instruments, featuring students of various ages and levels of study. On stage, the programme features a variety of ensembles, ranging from solo performances to chamber music and large string ensembles. The repertoire spans various periods of music history – from the Baroque to the 21st century – including works from the great string repertoire and arrangements specially prepared for this concert. The teaching method practised by A Pauta is based on the philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki, who believes that all children are capable of learning a musical instrument.
